Shut It, Polly!
Best chicken wings I've ever had. Not the usual wings slathered in bbq or buffalo sauce. These are nice and crispy with a delicious Thai peanut sauce coating. Try some and you'll be hooked!
Banana Hammock (Frozen!)
My favorite drink ever. Banana can be a hit or miss flavor for me but this combo is everything. Every time I go I think "I should try something new" because I know the whole menu is great, but I end up getting this as always because I just can't not. I honestly think it is a must try, and everyone I've told to try it agrees ?
Cauliflower Bahn Mi Salad
The cauliflower bahn mi salad hit every mark for a satisfying dish. The cauliflower was perfectly crispy with a sweet and savory glaze and it remained crispy for the 45 minutes that a tried to polish off this salad. I say "tried" because the salad was massive. It's served in a deep bowl, loaded with spring mix, cucumbers, and delightfully spicy peppers that give it kick without being overwhelming. I arrived starving and left stuffed, having only finished 2/3 of the salad. Absolutely will be ordering this again.
Pub Burger
I didn't expect this to be any more than a run of the mill average burger, but I was so wrong. It was absolutely delicious! Cooked and seasoned to perfection. Definitely recommend!
Shrimp & Lobster Roll
So delicious I love it. Will definitley get it again.
Crow's Nest
These were truly the best deviled eggs I've ever tasted! The flavors were exquisite and the presentation was beautiful. Would ABSOLUTELY order again!
Buffalo Cauliflower
Truly the best Buffalo Cauliflower I've had. Spice level & crispiness are both 10/10. Also you get to choose from tons of different sauces. Highly recommend!
Kalua Pork Tacos
Man, these things were NEXT LEVEL! I've had many pork tacos in my life and pride myself in my ability to cook pork. I've won BBQ competitions but never made pork like this. Part of me wants to challenge of trying to replicate this at home, but with a place like Broken Compass, I'll just show up and order it there! :)
Crispy Fish Tacos
This was my first time visiting after randomly selecting based on location and Yelp reviews. The food was excellent, the ambience was amazing, this is my new favorite restaurant and I can't wait to go back. The amount of detail that went into decorating the place is crazy, it really felt like being at a popular theme park in Anaheim with a pirate themed ride. I had the Fish Tacos, it was a very generous serving size and although the side salad was just lettuce, the dressing was sooo good that I'd be happy to just eat a large bowl of plain lettuce. I went on a Thursday early evening and the place was packed, we had to wait for a seat, so that tells you how good this place is. Now I'm just trying to figure out what excuse I can use to go back!
Shrimp & Lobster Roll
Deviled eggs was good, lobster and shrimp roll was good but the isle club sandwich was amazing i like the 3 dots and a dash drink and hubby liked the zombie magic . all was good and the service . we will be back
